The Char Dham Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage covering the four holy temples of Yamunotri Temple, Gangotri Temple, Kedarnath Temple, and Badrinath Temple in Uttarakhand.
The journey begins from Haridwar or Dehradun and continues to Barkot for the first stay. Pilgrims then visit Yamunotri and Gangotri, the sacred sources of the Yamuna and Ganga rivers. The tour continues to Kedarnath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, followed by a visit to Badrinath, the holy temple of Lord Vishnu.
During the journey, travelers pass through beautiful Himalayan towns like Barkot, Uttarkashi, Guptkashi, and Rudraprayag, enjoying scenic Himalayan views and sacred river confluences before concluding the pilgrimage with a drop at Dehradun.
